~ ABOUT US

Hey there, and Congratulations!
I’m Marina, and I’m the owner of Evermore Bridal.

Three years ago, I lost my job in New York City and moved home to Massachusetts. I was totally at sea, unsure of what to do after over ten years in corporate marketing and events. Then, my sister got engaged, and one fated day during her appointment at Allegria Bridal — a long-standing pillar of the Boston bridal community — their team saw my eye for design and detail and offered me a job on the spot. I started the next week.

My very first bride came in nearly in tears: her wedding was in three months, and the dress she’d ordered with custom sleeves had arrived… without sleeves. Even worse, the bridal store had closed, so she had no way to contact the designer and reconcile the mistake. The dress in question? A long-sleeve A-line dress made entirely of lace. She left that day with a fitted crepe dress featuring tastefully sexy ruching, a sweetheart neckline, and romantically draped off-the-shoulder sleevelets. She gave me a hug before she left the store, and said she believed it was fate that her original dress didn’t work out, because that Elissar style was what she was really meant to wear (and is now available try on at our store!)

One thing led to another, and when I had the opportunity to open my own store I had to take the leap. I envisioned a place where women would gather to support each other and participate in what has become an uplifting, intimate tradition; where artistry and craftsmanship would take center stage; where the experience was not transactional but rather a guiding hand as clients embarked on the journey of curating their bridal style; where small, independent brands were the stars of the show, and where brides with unique, funky, distinctive taste could find pieces that brought their vision to life.

And now here we are! We can’t wait to work with you :)

Values & Commitments

The dress is just the start - we’re here until “I do”

Our motto is “from ring to reception”. Before ‘business owner’, I consider myself first and foremost a personal stylist. These days, our brides are not just looking for a dress but a ‘wedding wardrobe’ that encapsulates their bridal style at every step leading up to the big day. Our commitment is to help you develop and curate that collection, with your gown as the foundation.

We will always do
what’s best for you.

Your wedding gown is an investment, and for many people the biggest fashion moment of their life. I operate on a zero-pressure policy: you need time to think? Please do! You fell in love with a dress somewhere else? That’s okay, I’m happy for you! This is your day, I’m just here to help.

We only work with brands we stand behind

Quality and craftsmanship come first. We only carry brands that meet our highest standards - and that goes for the people, too! We work with people who we actually want to work with, who share our passion, and who will always put the customer first. We don’t have brands, we have partners - which means they’re your partner too.

Our store is for EVERYONE, no exceptions

When you come to Evermore, you are in a safe space that is inclusive of every human being. We will do anything we are able to accommodate our clients.

The bridal world is historically one associated with ‘women’, but we aim to create an environment that is welcoming to any human being getting married.

Our Family (Literally)

  • Kathy

    Operations & Finance

In charge of billing and all things financial, and making sure I vacuum often enough. Enjoys: winter weather, the “bum-bumm” sound that plays when you open Netflix, giant mushy pitbulls, the film “Love Actually”, and insisting we clean the house before the cleaner comes.

  • Marina

    Owner & Head Stylist

In charge of: buying, marketing, client services, booking, dressing up the mannequins, testing tiaras, and everything else. Likes: skiing, Taylor Swift, classic novels, collecting vintage jewelry, Georgian cuisine, spending the day by the ocean, the film “Jaws”, and when dogs do that thing where they cross their paws together like a proper gentleman.

  • Benny

    Store Paw-ssistant

He’s just here for the party. You may see him in the shop from time to time, so he wants you to know that is a non-shedding dog and is not allowed to try on the dresses. Benny is a mutt of unknown Southern origin, will do anything for a treat, and enjoys fine street cuisine (whatever he finds on the ground that seems appealing at the moment).
